El Bentivegna is a writer originally from New Jersey. They are currently pursuing their MFA in poetry at the NEOMFA program through Cleveland State University. In 2023 they were a finalist for the Literary Cleveland Breakthrough Residency. They were the recipient of the 2025 University and Colleges Prize through the Academy of American Poets. El lives in Cleveland Heights with their husband and four cats.
