El Bentivegna is a poetry candidate in the NEOMFA program through Cleveland State University. They are the author of the chapbook Confirm Humanity (Rockwood Press 2025) and their chapbook FUTUREQUEST is forthcoming from Ethel Zine in 2026. They were the recipient of the 2025 Academy of American Poets University and College Poetry Prize. Their work can be found in HAD, *82 Review, Anti-Heroin Chic, and others. El lives in Cleveland Heights with their husband and their four cats.
